  • Tap Get once you find it.
  • OrionVPN iOS App is now successfully installed on your phone.

Once the application is installed, you may proceed to launch the application and login to it.

  • Launch OrionVPN app.
  • You will be redirected to your default browser for login.
  • Enter your OrionVPN email and password (Use the email and password you set up during the purchase).
  • After entering the account details, tap Login.
  • Once done, you will be Logged into the OrionVPN app.

Wish to logout from the OrionVPN application? No problem! Follow the simple steps below.

  • Tab the Profile icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.
  • The Logout button will be visible.

  • Tap Yes to proceed.

  • Tab the Profile icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.
  • In the profile section you will see the following details:
    • VPN Username

  • If your connection was successful, you should see the connected status. To disconnect, tap the Green button located at the center of the OrionVPN app.
  • From the OrionVPN app’s main dashboard, tap the Globe icon located at the bottom.

  • Tap your desired country to connect or type your desired country via search option.
  • You are now connected to your chosen country.

This feature lets you explore and connect to different cities within a country—right from the OrionVPN app. Want to pick a specific city? Just follow the steps below 👇

  • From the OrionVPN app’s main dashboard, tap the Globe icon located at the bottom.
  • Tap the three dots next to the locations to display a list of cities.
  • Tap your desired city to connect or type your desired city via search option
  • You are now Connected to  your desired city.
  • You are now Connected to  your desired city

Tired of scrolling up and down to search for a location? Want a simplified way to sort the locations? Follow the instructions below 👇

  • From the OrionVPN app’s main dashboard, tap the Globe icon located at the bottom.


  • From the top right display of the OrionVPN app, tap the three dots next to the Location.

  • You will now see the options to sort them.
  • To sort countries alphabetically, tap Sort by Alphabetically.
  • Countries are now sorted in Alphabetical order.
  • To sort countries by popularity, tap Sort by Popularity.

  • Countries are now sorted by Popularity order.
  • From the OrionVPN app’s main dashboard, tap the Globe icon located at the bottom.

  • Tap the Dedicated IP option to connect.

  • You are now Connected successfully with your Dedicated IP Add-on.
  • In case you’re already connected to your dedicated IP on another device, you’ll be prompted accordingly to continue as per choice.

Now you can express your experience by rating us directly on OrionVPN App. Here’s how you can proceed.

How can you rate your VPN App? Follow the instructions below 👇 

  • Tab the Profile icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.

  • From the top right display of the OrionVPN app, tap the three dots next to the Profile.
  • As soon as you fill it, a support ticket will be open.
  • Tap Submit. Our team will then get back to you via email

To switch between VPN protocols in the OrionVPN app, make sure you’re disconnected first. Then, just turn off the “Automatic Protocol Selection” option to see and choose from the available protocols.


Each protocol can affect your connection’s speed and stability, so it’s important to pick the right one. We usually recommend sticking with the automatic option—it selects the best settings for you. But if that doesn’t work well in your case, feel free to try switching to another protocol manually.

Protocol Guide:

Wireguard: (Recommended)

Wireguard provides a fast and secure VPN connection and it’s usually used for web browsing and streaming.

UDP:

UDP is mainly used for streaming and downloading. It provides a fast VPN connection with medium encryption.

TCP:

TCP is more reliable, but also a little slower, and is usually used for web browsing. 

IKEv2:

IKEv2 is one of the fastest VPN protocols that provides stable connection and is usually used for streaming and downloading.

  • Tap the Setting icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.
  • Tap VPN Network Protocol.
  • Turn off Automatic protocol selection to change your protocol selection, A warning will appear, tap Proceed to continue. 
  • Choose the Protocol of your choice from the list.
  • Upon successful connection you can see the selected protocol in the Connection details.Connect to Fallback: This option will connect you to the next best available option if you are unable to connect with your preferred protocol.Once done, go back to the Locations tab and connect with your desired location.

The settings in the OrionVPN app can be adjusted to create a personalized experience that works well for you. If you ever need to, you can always switch back to the default settings with just one click.

  • In the Settings tab, you will be able to see Reconnect Automatically option.

  • Toggle Reconnect Automatically to turn it on.

VPN on Demand is an always-on feature designed for iOS devices like iPhones and iPads. It ensures your internet traffic routes through both the VPN and ISP networks seamlessly. With this feature, the VPN automatically connects when you access websites that require a secure connection. In short, it guarantees that your device connects to the VPN before loading any specified websites.

  • Tap the Setting icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.
  • In General settings, tap VPN on Demand.
  • Toggle Enable for domain.
  • Type the domain you wish to add. (In this article we have used www.google.com as an example).

With this option, you can now revert the OrionVPN app to its default settings. Want to know how to do it? Follow the instructions below 👇 

  • Tab the Setting icon on the bottom of the OrionVPN app.
  • In General settings, tap Clear my preferences.

    Tap Clear my preference option and a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm. Tap OK to proceed.

  • Your app preference has been cleared successfully.
